My name is Aaron, and I’m originally from Anchorage, Alaska. I moved to Utah in 2013, looking for a fresh start and new opportunities. Life hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve always tried to do the right thing and treat people with respect. Most who know me will say I have a good heart, and I believe that’s true, even though I’ve made mistakes along the way.

I’ve been through a lot, including multiple serious car accidents that left both physical and emotional scars. Like many people dealing with chronic pain and stress, I fell into drug use as a way to cope. That path led me to some dark places I never imagined I’d be. I’m currently incarcerated, serving time for first-degree murder. It’s painful to say, but I want to be honest. The truth is, I was under the influence and going through a very difficult time in my life when the incident happened. I never intended to hurt anyone. What happened was a terrible accident (not a premeditated act) and I firmly believe I was wrongfully convicted of a charge more severe than what the situation truly was.

Now, my focus is on growth, healing, and never coming back to prison. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect and understand myself better. I’m committed to change and to building a better future. No matter what’s happened in my past, I believe there’s still a purpose for my life.

I’m reaching out because I’d really like someone to talk to; someone real who can see me for more than just the mistakes I’ve made. If you’re open-minded and believe in second chances, I’d love to connect. Everyone deserves to be heard, and sometimes just talking with someone can mean the world.
