I was born in Englewood, Colorado, but raised all over the place, mostly in California and Florida- a “Mom’s house/Dad’s house” situation. I had a very hard childhood, to say the least, but with some very good times in there with the bad. It’s a very long story… no, it’s a testimony that I’d love to share with someone who doesn’t mind a good cry and a lot of laughter. Trust me when I say it’s been worth all the tears! But more on all that later. I only have so much room here, so let’s move on.

I am a very fun and energetic man who loves the outdoors and all the fun it offers. The ocean is where my heart is… don’t get me wrong, I love my mountains back home, but the beach is where it’s at. I do a lot of surfing, kiteboarding, and scuba diving. God made that underwater world with a lot of care and creativity, and this is where I find a lot of my own creativity and inspiration.

I have been a professional artist my whole life. My skills (entrusted to me by God) are great and really all over the place. I’m into everything artistic; painting, sculpting, making and building all kinds of things, and I took these skills into the carpentry and construction world and blended them together. This is where my “SOUL LIGHT CREATIONS” was born. But more on that at some other time; there are a lot of fun and beautiful stories to share.

Some other points to consider: I’ve never done any drugs, I’ve never been into heavy drinking, and I’m not a sex offender. I mention this because these are often “no-go” points for people out there looking to write someone in here. However, I was no angel by any means. I was a thief and a very broken and angry-hearted man, and that led me down the road to where I am now; in prison for pulling a knife on someone (not hurting them!), but that was enough for Texas to lock me up for 25 years. Another long story to be sure.

But the most important thing of all is that everything that happened in my life led me to a point where the most wonderful thing occurred. I was found, and I was made to see that I am loved beyond my comprehension and was made new in the loving embrace of the Lord Jesus. I AM AND WILL ALWAYS BE REDEEMED!! All the wounds were healed, and the scars made strong.

So, my friends, I’ve got a lot to share with someone out there, someone who can be helped by my testimony. I hope that I get a chance to be a blessing to someone and help anyone who feels lost or lonely come to know the awesomeness of being loved by the Lord Jesus.
