Charles is 58 and incarcerated in the US (OR).
Dear Potential Friend,
I’m excited to post on Wire of Hope in hope to meet someone, to simply get to know and a chance to chop it up with someone who may be on a like-minded path. My path is one of helping others and living as an honest and productive citizen.
I assure you, I didn’t always think this way, but after receiving a life sentence -and I mind you that I’m on the downhill of this sentence- but this time has made a better man of me and given me the chance to live life as God intended for me.
In 2006, I not only got locked up, but in a sense, I was free, free from my addiction to drugs and alcohol. Again, I’ve been clean and sober since 2006. I have since acquired my certified Drug & Alcohol Certification (CADC1), certified recovery mentor (CRM) with the State of Oregon. My day-to-day activities consist of helping the addict that suffers from addiction.
I have acquired other skills/hobbies as Metal Fabricator, Machinist, and Welder.
I’m signing up with Wire of Hope in hope to shake a hand and meet a friend. I believe that a little conversation can be the start of friendship.
