Christopher Olivarez

Hello, my name is Christopher Olivarez. I’m 31 years old, from a small town called Lamesa, in Texas. I am an energetic individual who is full of life and smiles. I enjoy working out and being involved in sports. I enjoy reading the Bible, writing poetry, listening to music, and trying to sing along with the song… even though I don’t have a voice that sounds like I’ll be getting the golden ticket to go to Hollywood! I do enjoy singing, though. I also have an animated spirit; I enjoy laughing and joking around, because I do believe laughter is good for the heart. However, I also know when it’s time to be serious and man up.

Since I’ve been incarcerated, I’ve taken multiple classes that I graduated from. I recently graduated masonry brick laying, bridges to life and cognitive life skills which I really enjoy. I like to be proactive and stay busy. Some of my qualities are being a good listener, being able to communicate, being honest with others as well as with myself, and being loyal with both love and respect. What I really enjoy is helping others. I don’t mind being the shoulder to lean on, I don’t mind listening to someone vent, I don’t mind praying for someone who has a need. I’m an outgoing person who’s fun to be around, especially if you love to smile and laugh.
