Hi, I’m Chris! Thanks for stopping by my profile! 🙂 I’m here because I’m looking to make friends with people in the free world (women only, please). My parole date is coming up within the next few years. I’m eager to begin my transition back into society, and reestablishing relationships with people on the outside feels like the first step!

I had a difficult past and was involved in criminal activity in my younger years. I was struggling and found myself in challenging situations over and over again. Family is everything to me, I would do anything for family… even go to prison. Despite my unlawful ways of the past, I have always been protective of those closest to me, and that is part of the reason I am here today.

I have tried my best to make the most of a devastating situation. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the greatest gift I have received while paying my debt to society was finding Christ. Since my incarceration, I have become involved in the church and all of the chapel activities. I have helped organize events such as “Family Day,” which is an entire day of inmates and their loved ones bonding together. Helping others in their rehabilitation journey has become a part of my purpose here.

I am also proud to share that I am officially a certified life coach! My mission is to assist inmates who are struggling with their mental health and just need a friend. I find this type of work to be incredibly fulfilling and take great pride in how I’ve turned my life around.

Besides church activities and life coaching, I also enjoy working out, listening to music, and watching movies. I would consider myself very outgoing (some have described me as the Energizer Bunny). I love to keep myself busy and am always trying to make others smile.

I am thankful for this experience and grateful to have the opportunity to correspond with others and connect with people on Wire of Hope!
