Have you ever heard shy people need to write now and then or else we will dry up and blow away? It’s true! And I speak as one who loves to reach for the phone and say, “What’s shaken”? The telephone is to shyness as Hawaii is to February, and yet: a letter is better!
Letters are gifts and it is a gift I want to give you. After a long one, I want to be in the pile of mail: an unopened gift to repair your day. My words may not be immortal, but they will be sincere.
