Hello friends,

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Vontré or Tre, which is short for my government name. I joined this program because I’ve decided to venture out and stop doing this time with just books, these walls, and this cell. I’m sure a lot of men say this, so excuse my cliché choice of words, but I’m very unique. No spoiler alerts, you’ll have to reach out to see exactly what I mean… I will tell you this, though. I enjoy life for its mysteries, trials, errors and lessons. I love sports, fashion, family vibes, and late night vibes as well. I’m quiet most of the time, which allows me to listen better, but I can be very funny at any given moment and once you get to know me, you won’t be able to get enough…

At the moment, my time here is not guaranteed; I’m currently in the process of getting my sentence reduced. I do ask before you look me up, understand that the narrative is never always what it may seem to be. Long story short, a few nights before I was deployed for the Navy, my old peers and I went to a party. In a different setting liquor was flowing, emotions were running wild and some people were allegedly assaulted/robbed. Being that I was with the crowd, guilt by association, and I couldn’t place members of my group accurately, I was forced to take an Alford plea… With that, I wish whoever you are a good day/night. I do hope you’re brave enough to take this journey with me.
