I can respond electronically, but feel free to reply via mailing address if you prefer. With that said, my sole intention in writing this is to meet new friends. I appreciate the beauty of diversity —what makes each person unique— and find joy in creating meaningful connections with others.

To clarify, I am not seeking romance or a relationship, but rather the company of positive, like-minded individuals who are focused on growth, creativity, and the betterment of themselves and others.

A bit about me: I have been incarcerated for 20 years. While it might be easy to dwell on the challenges of this journey, I choose not to. Instead, I focus on the growth and perspective I have gained. Life presents us with circumstances, but we all have the freedom to decide how we respond to them.

I’m 6’1 and a blend of various nationalities. Some of the things I enjoy most include reading (especially educational material), exercising, drawing, painting, and spending quality time with my family when I can. I am proud to be a CU Denver graduate, a published author, and an artist—twice recognized for “encaptured words, free thoughts.” I’ve also been the lead actor in a musical (a story worth sharing one day), and I consider myself a talented cook, an encourager, and a child at heart.

Above all, I believe in the power of growth and the betterment of others. I value free thinking and enjoy exchanging ideas and perspectives with others, always striving to become better than the person I was yesterday.
