Marcus is 35 and incarcerated in the US (WI).
Everyone calls me MJ. Sorry the picture is a couple years old. I am incarcerated in Wisconsin, but we use a mail service based out of Maryland so mail takes a little time to get here. I enjoy reading, writing, learning, drawing, and listening to music. Despite life’s ups and downs, I maintain a positive attitude and remain optimistic. Life is too short, so I strive to capitalize on all opportunities and experiences this crazy world presents me with. Sincere and authentic friendship is something I desire.
I have discovered that a true passion of mine is to be of service to others. Recently an opportunity to become a certified peer specialist. We are also called peer mentors. This position gives me the chance to serve others helping to guide guys onto a more positive path. It is my purpose in life to help and improve the lives of others. I am now state certified to do this. I have found that I have a knack for working with people suffering with mental health, addiction, and trauma-related issues.
Though my body is behind these walls; I mentally escape this lonely place through emails, letters, and drawing portraits. I would love to expand my little world by corresponding with new people and making new friends. I am very nonjudgmental, so shoot your shot. I hope you decide to contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you. If you write; include your email address and we can write each other on CorrLinks, which is much faster than U.S. mail. Don’t judge a book by its cover or fake news reviews. If you find yourself interested to this point; get to know me. Get to know the truth.
