Michael is 33 and incarcerated in the US (AR).
Well Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Michael. I have been incarcerated now for 7 years on a 66-year sentence. I grew up in a small town and we lived in the country. My parents divorced when I was 2 and I lived with my mother and visited with my father mostly on weekends. I played baseball as a child and football in jr. high. I graduated high school and went to welding school in Oklahoma. I completed welding school and came back to Magnolia and started my welding career. I have a really big family on both my parents’ sides. I have a total of 8 siblings combined, me being the oldest. I have made some not so smart choices in my life and I am having to pay for them. I am a very social person and would love to be able to write with someone and get to know them. I am looking really for friendship as being incarcerated means I don’t have much to offer but a listening ear and writing hand. My mom video chats with me every day and I know that I am one lucky guy to have such an amazing support system that I do with my family. I love to draw, read books, working out and anything to keep my mind busy. I have an aunt that writes to me at least a few times a month with just telling me the things she is doing as in planting her garden, playing with her grandchildren, bible verses, anything so that I can know what is going on outside in her life. I’m gonna stop here and I hope that if you have read to this point that you would think about sending me a letter and if not, I understand and hope you have a great day.
