Raymond is 41 and incarcerated in the US (CA).
Hello,
Thank you for considering me as your new-found friend. I joined Wire of Hope’s program in hopes of meeting someone interested in building an authentic friendship, nothing romantic, just something unique in its own way.
About me? I’m the mild-mannered type who’s somewhat of a deep thinker but determined when in pursuit of personal goals. I love to laugh, carry a light heart, and try not to take myself too seriously. I am also someone who leans more towards taking care of the mind and body, so I’m a life-long learner who appreciates the value of physical fitness. Elevating who I am as a person is something I strive to do daily, so meeting someone who could teach me a thing or two would be awesome.
What else? I’ve evolved to a point where using my life’s experience to prevent kids from making the same mistakes I made has become a passion I indulge as a member of an at-risk youth organization called E.D.G.E. I’ve been away now 21 years for a crime committed as a teenager, but I’ll be eligible for parole soon. I believe the future is not only bright but full of promise and having a new friend to share new experiences with would be great.
I can be reached directly via email through the GettingOut app or a favorite of mine, “snail mail”, as I also enjoy writing. Hope to hear from you soon.
