Hello and thank you for stopping by to read my profile. My name is Richard, but friends and family call me “Benji.” I’m 1/2 Irish and 1/2 Black and a father of three. I’m 5’10 and 186 lbs.

I’m currently serving a 26-year-to-life sentence for “resisting arrest” (under California’s three strikes law). I keep the faith that in due time, this outdated draconian law will change; or else my fight for justice will culminate in granting my freedom once more.

I’m newly single and beginning an amicable divorce. Sometimes in life, one door must close in order for another to be opened. Something important to believe in is to never become jaded by our life’s experiences and to remain hopeful and open to new experiences, opportunities and people, as we continue moving through life towards our true destiny.

I’m reaching out in the hopes of meeting an adventurous and outgoing lady out there. Someone sincere and interested in corresponding and getting to know me, with the intention of building a solid friendship based off honesty, loyalty, and trust. Someone to exchange thoughts and experiences with. As well as someone to laugh and grow with. I’m easygoing, love to laugh and joke, but also find satisfaction in deep, engaging conversations.

I enjoy learning, reading, writing and exercising. I also enjoy music, playing chess and being outdoors. I’m judgment-free and focused solely on the content of your heart and character.
