Honestly I don’t even know where to begin because I never imagined myself in a million years having to seek out friendships on a pen-pal site, but here I am, like so many others who came before me and the many who will come after me, forgotten and lost in an unjust criminal justice system.
I have been incarcerated close to 2 decades now but despite the hardships and everything l’ve been faced with I was still able to endure, and maintain my health, spirituality and sanity. From my perspective, l’ve already gotten over the hard part. I’m getting closer to my release date and now l’m looking for that special someone who’s willing to ride the rest of this time out with me so I could do the same for her once l’m released.
