Hi my name is Yisbert Lara. I am 6 ft. tall and weigh 195 pounds. I love nature, animals, and some of my hobbies are swimming, drawing, cooking, camping, driving racing motorcycle, exercise and meditation. Since my incarceration in 2006 I have been on a path of self-education in order to expand my knowledge of law and proving my innocence. Beside gaining fulfillment in helping other at the law library. I am a member of the African American Coalition committee, the Harriet Tubman project, a group who bring awareness of prisoner’s rights and structural racism.
I like meeting new people. Specifically, I am interested in meeting someone who is caring, honest, kind, sincere, understanding and positive. Someone who would like to build a long-term friendship and who likes to laugh. I would love to listen to their stories and experiences of life. Through this process we can learn to be better human beings. I like to laugh, spend quality time with friends and create beautiful memories out of our friendship.
