Greeting to you beautiful women out there.
My name is Carlos, an individual in custody taking this opportunity to reach out and connect through Wire of Hope.
My measurables are 5’11”, brown skin, dreadlocks, athletic build, 187 lbs. I’m 41 and very active and energetic.
Though, I must admit, this is new to me—trying out a penpal service, so be gentle.
I’m a bit nervous yet excited and optimistic about putting myself out there and encountering someone special.
I’m looking for someone who is thoughtful, caring, non-judgmental, open-minded, patient, comfortable in herself, and beautiful inside and out. Someone I can vibe and chill with, share and grow, and who is willing to take a chance at friendship.
At the end of the day, everybody wants to be appreciated, loved, and respected, so I offer myself through attributes such as:

I’ve been locked up for 20 years, yet I didn’t let incarceration steal my joy. Because at the end of the day, it’s a blessing to be alive.
I’ve dedicated myself to learning and getting better every day by reading—because reading is fundamental and the mind can grow the more you grow.
I work out, play basketball often, and sometimes do intense cardio.
My hobbies include:
• Barbering and cosmetology
• Chess and checkers (because it involves strategy and some form of math)
I am of Christian faith and open-minded to other faiths.
I believe there’s someone for everyone.
And if you seek, you shall find.
I was always told, in order to receive God’s blessing, you have to be a blessing to someone.
So allow me to be that blessing in your life—and a great friend who listens and accepts you for who you are.
Someone who is unbiased and welcomes the chance to be your friend.
