Hello there! I’m Chris, a 35-year-old white guy who’s looking to make some new friends. I’m outdoorsy and grew up camping and hiking. I’m Christian and try to study my scriptures every day. I like doing things that engage my mind, like puzzles and strategy games. I like reading, particularly Science Fiction/Fantasy (favorite authors include: Tolkien, Elizabeth Moon, Jim Butcher, David Weber), and drawing (I specialize in pencil-drawn portraits). I love listening to music, though I have eccentric tastes (some favorites: Evanescence, Karliene, L’âme Immortelle, Avril Lavigne, Lindsey Stirling, In This Moment, Jackie Evancho, Five Finger Death Punch, Tim McGraw). I also enjoy learning new things and adding to my education. Recently, I’ve been trying to find out more about my German heritage and learn the language.
My friends would tell you I’m helpful and considerate, if silly and goofy. I try not to take myself too seriously. I’m not perfect, but stay on a path of self-improvement. I’m not proud of my crime, and I wish I could go back and change things or make things right somehow. I’d like to meet people who are willing to see that I’m genuine about that and judge me based on more than just one mistake I made as a teenager 15 years ago. I’m looking for nice women who I can connect with. I look forward to meeting new people and building some great friendships.
