My name is Jon, I am a parent, husband, and dog dad. I have 2 boys, 15 and 16, two French bulldogs, and am married to my best friend for 12 years. Sober since 2021, I love music, dancing, art, tattoos, coffee, and making lasting connections with other people. I am doing 13 years in federal prison for drug trafficking and money laundering.
On the outside, I work at a detox clinic helping people get sober from drug abuse and helping them transition to sober living and inpatient rehabilitation centers. This is my passion and my life’s work. I made some mistakes that landed me in prison, and I am doing everything I can to change that behavior now. With all the programs I qualify for, I should be out in the next 4 years, give or take. I am extremely lucky in this regard.
I love video games, art, music, dancing, computers, tattoos, adult swim, old-school cartoons, and am a very social person.
I also love to read and am learning to draw. I have been learning and practicing American Sign Language here in prison for the last 6 months and plan to use it to help others when I get out in the recovery community. I am the dedicated, full-time translator for two of the deaf inmates we have here at TI. I am open to talking with anyone, from any walk of life.
