My sincerest greetings. Thank you for stepping and reading my bio. My name is Steven Alvarez. I am so thankful to have a place such as Wire of Hope to share of the person I am today, thanks be to GOD. I hope I can interest you in hearing my story of how the Grace of GOD bestowed on me and has had a great impact on my life. Today, I am a man who is able to let go and let GOD direct my footsteps. I am blessed to see the changes in my life and have hope when in past time I had none.
The man I am today has had a renewing of the mind and heart and it is is manifested in my purpose. I hope to intrigue for positive conversation, to hear of life through your eyes and your journey, maybe create a support network to edify one another. I seek likeminded people that believe in not judging a book by its cover, but by the content of their being. In my past, I made mistakes but these are the very stepping stones I’ve been able to utilize for good.
By God’s grace today I am a college student seeking to start a B.A. program. I gained certification to be an A.O.D. counselor with an out of prison entity that is valid while incarcerated. This is how I spend my days, working in therapeutic groups and mentoring on the time off. I like to listen to music, (this is golden) reading the Word, reading self-help books, doing some drawing.
My goals are to be found suitable to be released sooner than later, upon release work in this A.O.D. / mental health field, and make a positive and healthy life.
I realize all my hopes and dreams will come to fruition as long as GOD is at the center of all my plans. I live day by day, focused on His goodness and His grace, and if he has brought me this far, I can’t wait to see what is waiting for me from his Goodness!
