Joshua is 35 and incarcerated in the US (PA).
Hi, my name is Josh. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I am currently incarcerated in Pennsylvania. I lived most of my life in the suburbs of Maryland and have been incarcerated since 2019.
I am 35 years old. I exercise and lift weights six days a week; it keeps me busy and healthy, both mentally and physically. I joined the U.S. Army in 2011 as a Bravo Infantryman. I was part of the 101st Airborne, 3/187 Iron Rakkasans, and I served a combat tour in Afghanistan. After my service, I worked in the family business of home improvement and construction.
2019 was a year filled with both joy and tragedy. My son was born early that year. However, a tragic accident happened later that year, which is why I am incarcerated. I have a close relationship with my mother, who has helped me through this time of my life, bringing light to moments of darkness and challenges beyond belief. My son gives me purpose: to survive and to never give up. I keep in contact with him as much as I can and hope to someday be part of his life.
Prison has shown me the best and worst of human nature. It has taught me humility, patience, maturity, optimism, and inner strength I thought I never had. It has reminded me to appreciate all the small things. One step at a time, climbing this mountain. It’s not about reaching the top, but the climb.
I would like to hear from you. Please email or write to me, and I will respond back. Thank you.
