I’m Michael, but everyone calls me Mike. I’m a big fan of classic rock bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, and AC/DC, but I also enjoy the uplifting sounds of Lauren Daigle. I’m pretty talented with a pencil in my hand and love drawing. I’m a proud dad of three and have five amazing grandkids. Once I’m out, I’m planning on getting back to camping and fishing, things I used to do a lot before I came here. I’ve always been into trucks and cars, and I’ve got a knack for fixing them when they need work. Motorcycles are also a passion of mine.
I’ve been here for 4 years, and while it can get lonely at times, I keep myself busy staying in shape and focusing on personal growth. I work out five days a week, play guitar, and used to play hockey in my 20s. When it comes to movies, I’m all about horror, sci-fi, and thrillers. Not so much comedies though, they just don’t hit the same anymore!
I’m really focused on personal growth and preparing for my release. Before all of this, I spent 30 years working in mining. This is my first and only offense, and I’ve never even had a parking ticket or traffic violation. I’m looking forward to my release and would love to connect with someone who enjoys great conversation, shares some common interests, or just wants to exchange letters to pass the time.
