I am an educated, fairly well read, deep thinker. I enjoy sharing ideas and talking them out with other intelligent and likeminded people. I merely converse, I don’t debate or argue, nor do I attempt to sway others to my way of thinking. I find that most adults have their own set of ideals and beliefs and will seldom change them, myself included. I enjoy reading fiction, from sci-fi to romance. I also find myself in a writer’s mood occasionally and have written several fan fiction short stories for my own enjoyment and really hope to publish my own novel one day. I’m not much of a TV watcher, though I do keep up with NHRA drag racing and professional wrestling. My one regular sitcom has been The Big Bang Theory and subsequent spin-offs. I do watch the occasional movie as well. I enjoy gaming as a time killer. Currently I play Xbox, but for years it was Dungeons and Dragons table top gaming.
In my life I am or have been: a big brother, father, husband, a child who loved growing up in the 80’s and early 90’s, and an adult who thinks the world has gone to hell. I’ve been a laborer, landscaper, soldier, pool tech, factory worker, server, deejay, maintenance coordinator, purchasing agent, and nurse; typically more than one of those at a time. I’ve been a scout leader, ham radio operator, and a member of a 9-ball team. I’ve been a Democrat and a Republican, a Christian and not a Christian. These days I’m fascinated with the Ancient Alien Theory and have quit talking politics. I’ve been accused of loving too much and not enough. I have been called passionate and indifferent, driven and lazy, dependable and … well I’ve never been called unreliable. I have a sense of humor, so l’ve heard. I am a man of many pieces that make up an interesting whole and typically share them all with those who get to know me.
