I’m a sold-out, Kingdom-minded follower of Jesus Christ, and I preach at the church services in my prison. I hope to continue in ministry after my release. I live life with my heart wide open, and I’d like to make a real and meaningful connection with a woman who’ll choose to see me for who I am today instead of the man I was. I make no excuses for my past; I am deeply remorseful for the damaging effects of the choices I made. I choose to make the rest of my life a living example of repentance and how a man can be remade. I was a medic in the Army for eight years. I’m originally from Wisconsin, but I’ll be staying in Minnesota after my release. I love music; my favorite is Christian metal, but I also like some other stuff. I’m a sucker for a cozy mystery, and I’m known to cry during Hallmark movies. I work in the print shop in my prison, and I’ll likely remain in the print industry after my release as a way to pay the bills while I pursue my passion for ministry. I love hiking and being outdoors. I’m a husky fella with a lot of love to give. I’m kind of a Doug still looking for his Carrie… and if you understand that reference, then maybe you’re the gal for me.
