To My Potential Friends,
Thank you for taking a moment out of your schedule to view my page. I understand you may be unsure or skeptical about getting to know a complete stranger that’s also incarcerated, but I ask that I don’t be judged by perception but by what’s in my heart.
Like so many incarcerated, my past consists of running the street life. I’ve been in the streets since I was 11 years old. I did what I had to do at that time so me and my siblings could eat at night. I do believe in karma, and the choices I’ve made in my past led to my present demise. Yet, I’m still able to smile and laugh despite my current circumstances. I love to joke, yet I feel wise beyond my years. Consumed by loneliness causes me to yearn for company from a woman.
I believe any relationship has to be rooted in friendship, so I’m interested in that first. But I’m open to any possibilities that may derive from such. I’m big on honesty. I think that’s a rare trait, yet so fascinating to me at the same time. I’m an open book, but I suffer from a disease called “blind loyalty.” Yeah, I’m loyal to a fault. (S.M.H.)
