I was born in Minnesota to two young parents. My mother was 20 years old when she gave birth to me. She is mostly of Norwegian descent and comes from the Twin Cities area. My father was 18 years old when I was born. He is of Ojibwe/Polish descent, which makes me one hell of a mix. My father was wild back in the 90s; he went to prison when I was little, and I ended up following in his footsteps.

I am not sure how my parents met. They were married for a few years and divorced when I was young. Mom is married to someone else now; Dad is not.

Now that I’ve discussed a little about my parents and given you some background, I’m going to take you on a tour of my life. It’s not much, but maybe you might find me interesting.

Every day, I wake up to breakfast being announced over the intercom inside the cell. I turn on my exclusive 13″ TV (LOL), put some water in the hotpot for coffee, stretch, and get in my routine workout before I walk down to the chow hall. I enjoy some coffee afterward, clean myself up, drink some water, brush my teeth, and clean my room. I sit and read, study for college, and work on artwork or beadwork the rest of the day.

Lunch passes quickly, and before you know it, dinner arrives. Then I shower, watch TV till 11 pm, and call it a night. When we have recreation available, I take every opportunity to go outside. I play ping pong, handball, run the track, or work out- just some things we do to keep ourselves busy. I used to play cards (poker, cribbage, pinochle) but I don’t play often anymore. I’m too busy studying and getting money. I take my art seriously- I am a tattoo artist. I’ve been tattooing here for years throughout my other prison bids. I first started in 2010. I was born great with tattooing in the street, but addiction overtook my mind and actions.

I sell my work in order to provide for myself, my sons, and sometimes my mother. I don’t ask my family for money; I bust ass, I get things done. When I say I’m going to do something, I’m going to do it. No question. I’m a man with a big heart. I go outta my way for people I care for, especially that one woman who has my heart. Finding my person is difficult, but I remain hopeful.

I believe in chances. Give me a shot- to get to know who I am, and you will see for yourself that I’m a great person. Write me at the address listed on here, or send me an email on JPay. I will write back. Hit me up 🙂
