Hello,

First off and foremost, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Anthony. I’m honestly looking for freedom based outside of these walls that contain my body, not my soul, through writing to another soul who is willing to listen to the outcry of a man who has learned and grown from past mistakes and trauma I never knew I had until given the time to analyze myself.

But let me also say, many of us suffer from childhood trauma that puts us in situations we could have never imagined. Please don’t write me off as a soulless inmate before even getting to know my story. I’m not that man I was painted out to be, but let me tell you, God has forgiven me for my past. I’d like to believe others could see me as “human” and give me a chance to tell my life. I’m a walking, breathing testimony. I like to think my story is still being written.

I’ve made mistakes as an adolescent who has grown into a mature man. Allow me to share myself with you. I’m a very good listener. Meeting new people is always a blessing.

A little about me: I naturally come off funny- “entertaining”. No, I do not try. My outside appearance may come off as dominant, yet I’m far from it. Let me tell you, I’m a teddy bear. I love people. I’m the person who will go out of my way to help you, even down to taking the shirt off my back to cover you. Why? Because I know the struggles of life. I’ve lived it and continue to live through a world full of pride. You just have to be that light to help others find a way out.

Always smiling because I see life as a blessing in its own. I may be behind bars, but my heart is free, waiting and willing… just a pen pal away.
