Hi, my name is George, and I’m writing this intro in hopes that you will “ZOOM IN” and absorb every single word with a thoughtful mind and open heart. I’m not asking for the world, just looking for a F.R.I.E.N.D. who will follow my lead to the “Pursuit of Happiness”!!!

I’m 38 years old and have been in this prison-crusade for 10 years now. I’m a mystique type of man who’s susceptible to the feelings or circumstances of other people and often thinks about others before myself. I enjoy traditional friendships where we help each other grow, learn, and be supportive of each other. A close friendship is important to me, one I recognize to value, honor, and praise so we can hug now and become friends (smile). I have a charismatic laugh and a good sense of humor- where vulnerability is a safe place. I enjoy nice conversations and prefer to talk about ideas, possibilities, things of success, nature, and anything to do with a life of love and harmony such as poetry, communication, etc…. I come from a beautiful family and have a 17-year-old son whom I continue to pour into and lead him onto solid growth in order to make the best choices when living in a crushed world. We all need somebody, especially when the pressure in life seems like it becomes too much to handle, we don’t have to wait until life gets harder and always have a shoulder to lean on.

For the past 6 years, I’ve been isolated in a solitary cell where at times I find myself trapped and lonely!! But the feeling of being pounded by the system doesn’t stop me from being the man I’m supposed to be, for I utilize this time of investment to excel by probing through my educational apps and podcast videos, where I learn and earn certificates on courses like cooking, academics, jobs, finance, health, recovery, arts and culture, reentry, and more… Anything to better and prepare myself for future success. I won’t let my past or background hold me back, but I’ll make it pay me back, for I believe the best is yet to come in making a difference.

Growing up since an early age, I was prone to violence, trauma, depression, etc… but thankfully, I’ve learned to overcome and regain myself in a massive way that’s unexplainable. I was born in Texas but lived in Mexico on and off, so I have seen so much in my lifetime. I am not who I used to be, nor do I involve myself in the negative things or people of any harm. I’m too focused on change in so many ways!! I love animals, exotic food, cookouts, boat riding, horse racing, and anything to do with bringing people together in unity. I grew up training horses and involved myself in many other things in my family fun. I grew up in the cities but on family ranches too, so I know a lot about this and that. lol Life is all about survival, creating things together, and making memories.

Despite my downfalls in life and people falling off on me due to distractions or death…. I’ve always challenged myself to remain strong and stay committed to myself in all that I do and go through. I have a G.E.D., taken 3 trades, and accomplished other programs, so who’s to say I’m in last place. Lol The longer I sit in this cell, I’m on my rack like a rack of wine being refined. Enough about me, though. I want to know about you, who you are, life, college, family, anything, so don’t let the negative forces block your happiness or blessings as I am doing the same. Don’t be stingy with your time and allow me a piece of your mind. lol Carry me with you inside your purse or back pocket in all that you do. (smile)
