How are you today? You know that you’re very special to me, and I would be totally honored to have you write me and that we could develop a friendship out of that. Besides friends, I’m really looking for that special someone now. Totally serious, no games. I’ve been through some rather major disappointments in my life and lately, so total truth and honesty upfront. No head games.

I came down 25 years ago with a life sentence. I’ve spent that time building the man I want to be. Now because of a discovery during cancer treatment, I’ve been enabled to return to court for new appeals. Something like “I’m innocent because of” but not quite. I truthfully believe I will win my release within a year’s time now. Time enough to get to know each other if you think it might be you that I’m talking about in here.

I will be the first to admit that you probably wouldn’t be too impressed with the man who came in here, even the one after a few years in here. The one you’re going to meet today isn’t about any of that. I don’t have a swollen head from being impressed with myself. I still make mistakes, but it’s okay to have failures or make mistakes if you can learn from them and retain it.

I consider myself very liberal and open-minded. I’m active and getting fit again. I run and exercise, try to eat healthy and stay slim, don’t let my age fool you. I’m really 35 in my mind and heart. Just remember, “It’s not the years, it’s just the miles.”

I’m very educated, and I’m curious about everything. I paint and write at a semi-professional level. I’m a craftsman; I like silver smithing and to make jewelry. History, culture, social justice, economic justice, like to travel. I would like you to be into some of those things too.

I’m interested in everything you do and like; this is a long-term relationship. You’re my best friend, my better half, my companion, my lover, my partner. I want to wake up to you and smile, kiss and then get it all back. Also give you space to be alone and have your own self when you need it.

I’m not violent, abusive, possessive or jealous. I want to be the man you always dreamed of but never quite found. Better than anything you ever hoped for and maybe what you’ve already given up on. Long serious talks, maybe sitting on the terrace looking for falling stars, sharing a wine or maybe a coffee with cinnamon and sugar in it. Snuggle, hold hands, have fun, dance, dine, nothing sedentary. I will care and protect you, care for you when you’re sick or under the weather. I cook and clean just as well as you.

I’m a German citizen and getting my U.S. back, so it’s possible there but what I’m really seriously organizing is a house and business in the South of France. Maybe live on a large catamaran with my business partner and his wife to be. So, if you’re sitting there thinking about how bored you are, never had a relationship where your partner was ready to give 150%. Someone who wants to treat you as an absolute equal and a lady.
