I often think to myself if one who has committed sins against man is worthy of friendship, or companionship? Acceptance and forgiveness are major components of God’s love, which is the love we all seek to obtain. Unconditional. With that thought in mind I asked myself the question, “Who is worthy of God’s friendship, companionship, acceptance, forgiveness… and love? Yet we seek it anyway.
I am forty-one years old, five foot eight, a photo should be attached. I was raised Christian and even did the “Catholic school boy thing” for a year. Obviously, I lost my way. These days I work as a clerk in the prison’s school, l attend college full time at night (Liberal Arts), and serve as a counselor in a pilot program to prevent prisoner suicides. In spite of that heavy load, I try to fit in some reading and lately it’s been the Bible… and in spite of that list I just gave please believe I need a lot of work!!!
I have been in many relationships, but the foundation wasn’t built on solid ground. God wasn’t at the center.
I’m interested in finding a lady friend that I can get to know, and vice versa, l am open minded, free spirited, good humored, and God fearing. I am far from perfect and trying to walk on that path a little more every day. Although I’m in here I would like a friend on the outside whom I can laugh with, share with, and grow with.
