Looking for someone to share laughs and smiles with!

Prison is a very lonely place. A very dark place where you can’t be yourself because any signs of vulnerability will be looked at as a sign of weakness and that is something you never want to be in prison, weak, so I decided to sign up on this site to find someone that I can be myself with and just pass time with, having fun getting to know each other and see where our new friendship takes us. We’re only here once. Don’t you agree? Set here to walk along this strange and awesome path. To live life fully, experience adventure, breathe in joy, find love, maybe lose love, to maybe find love again. Sometimes I’m scared. I admit it. But I’m surrounded by good memories, 4 beautiful kids, now 2 grandbabies that I adore who I can’t wait to meet one day soon. I have belief that I will prove my innocence one day soon and make more good times and friends as I am still working on appeals with the hope of gaining my freedom again. All this I am grateful for. So tell me what you’re grateful for. What adventures are you seeking? What brings you joy? Hope you’re looking for someone to walk beside you on this path called life. Maybe we’ll click, wouldn’t that be nice? Maybe we won’t but we won’t know unless we give our friendship a try. Hope to hear from you soon. Write/e-mail me and let’s see what happens.

Waiting in here is so different than the things we wait for in the free world. After going through everything before, waiting on everything in here makes me appreciate my freedom when I get it back and helps me realize that the things I waited for out there were not that bad when you are on a schedule. In here, it’s not your own time.
For most people, waiting takes place in a doctor’s office, a teller’s line at the bank, or in a drive-thru anticipating food. For others, maybe it’s waiting for your boyfriend to pick you up or for your child to come running out of school and greet you with a smile and a hug as the last bell rings.
Whether it’s a few minutes or a few hours, waiting is normally over quickly and painlessly, and life goes on.
Unfortunately for me, waiting is my life. I wait every day, locked in an eight-by-twelve cell 22 hours a day, for any sign of life from the outside world. I wake up and wait for breakfast to be shoved through my dirty door where guards could care less if clean or if my food lands on the floor like an animal. Some wouldn’t even treat their pets or animals this way or with the food we are fed here.
I then wait to be handcuffed and taken out for an hour of recreation. I wait for lunch. I wait to be handcuffed again and taken to a shower that is always cold. I then wait for mail and hope for a message from the outside that I am not forgotten, and as the guard passes me by and leaves me empty-handed, I wait for the feelings of hopelessness and despair to pass so I can go to sleep and wake up to wait again.
So my message to you is to never take life or your freedom for granted before you start waiting like I do every day.
