My sole intention in writing this is to meet new people. I appreciate the beauty of diversity and what makes that person unique. I find joy in creating those meaningful connections with others.
Additionally, I’m seeking the company of positive, like-minded individuals who are focused on growth. Who might be a little creative when it comes to life and what it brings. Individuals who are about the betterment of themselves as well as others. Maybe you’re a risk taker as I am also by posting this. I am not here to run game like a politician. I’m seeking connection. Furthermore, I’m not looking for America’s Next Top Model, just someone I can vibe with. I’ve met a lot of beautiful but ugly people in the world and discovered that true beauty radiates from the inside out.
About me: I’ve been incarcerated now for 20 years, and finally things are taking a positive twist pertaining to my legal situation. I could share stories with whomever about our Justice System that would blow your mind, but I’m thankful my situation is working out. And while it might be easy to sit and dwell on the many challenges along this journey called prison, I choose not to. Instead, I focus on growth and the new perspective I’ve gained toward life. Life presents us with circumstances, but we possess the freedom to decide how we respond to them.
I’m 6’1 and a blend of nationalities. Some of the things I enjoy most include reading (educational material), exercising, drawing, painting, and spending quality time with my family when I can. I am proud to be a C.U. Denver graduate, a published author in “Captured Words Free Thoughts.” I’ve also been a lead actor in a musical while in prison, and I consider myself a talented cook, an encourager, and a child at heart.
Above all, I believe in the power of growth for myself and others. That the only person we must beat is the person we were yesterday. I’d love to hear from you.
