Manuel is 43 and incarcerated in the US (KS).
I grew up in a respectable, loving, middle-class family and community. I was raised to believe in God, to be honest, and to make responsible decisions. As a young adult, I worked several jobs to support my family, while being a full-time college student. After several years of sacrifices, I graduate from college, earning a bachelor’s degree. Since my incarceration, I have earned a master’s degree in business administration, in order to better prepare myself upon my release.
I have seen firsthand what a criminal life has to offer. I look into the hollow eyes of my peers every day, and I want more for myself. Prison doesn’t have to be a place of misery and sorrow. It can be a place of healing and positive productivity. My hope is to be able to expand my social network, establish new friendships, and find interesting, loving people.
My personal hobbies include 3-D origami, attending, reaching out from within the wall group, plan, sports and assisting other inmates with their education. I also love dogs and traveling. I’m optimistic, emotionally mature and driven to succeed. Catholic faith is very important to my life. It has gotten me through my incarceration and has made me the man I am now.
I invite you to embark on a conversation journey and share life experiences with one another. I have many different interests, and would love to hear from you soon.
