Hello Wire of Hope,

My name is Michael, but most people call me Mike G. I was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. I’m currently at the Ellis Unit in Huntsville, Texas, going through the Grad Program. I am a huge sports fan and enjoy watching and going to games. My favorite teams are of course the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. I have two beautiful kids who are my life. A boy and a girl who are 9 and 8 years old. In the past, my hobbies were going to the movies, sporting events, and spending time with my kids. I also love music and recently gave up secular music. I’ve made a lot of bad decisions in my life that currently put me where I’m at but with repentance and God’s love, I’m finally back on a righteous path.

I’m looking for a person that is willing to communicate so we could get to know each other. For me, it’s not always what’s on the outside but what’s on the inside. I do have a lot of tattoos though and I hope that is not a problem. I’m a very simple Christian man that is just ready to live a simple life for God first and enjoy everything else that comes with being free. I’ve been to prison 3 times and making this my last trip. I’m very down-to-earth and have a lot of great qualities, my smile and hazel eyes being a few of those. I’m so patient in all areas of my life and very calm and collected. My plans for the future are to get my CDL license and get involved in Prison Ministry. I have a huge sense of humor and love to put a smile on a person’s face. I have a lot to offer someone who is willing to listen and dedicate some of their time. I’m a huge dog lover and used to have a German Shepard. I also love to travel and enjoy reading every day.
