Hope for me today means high on positive energy. I make it a point to strive each day to live this way.
Today I am fortunate enough to have a great outlook for my future and look forward to receiving positive responses from like-minded individuals to connect with and create lasting friendships.
I am on a path moving forward toward freedom within two (2) years, and as a part of my journey, I follow a daily routine of introspection and recovery, working on my substance use disorder.
My friends – I know you’re out there somewhere, and my hope is that you share my love for music and classic rock and know the band who wrote and sang the song – (I know you’re out there somewhere).
One of my significant enjoyments is music and the message in songs. I also enjoy reading about the backstories of how the people who formed and created their outstanding, meaningful form of communication came together.
I also truly enjoy making people laugh and being able to laugh – laughter, as they say, is great medicine.
I also try to stay as physically fit as I possibly can where I am incarcerated. I am on the closer side of sixty (60) years old; however, I am fortunate and grateful to be both mentally and physically well today.
Living in New England – New Hampshire, in particular – I have also enjoyed being outside, and it is nice to travel from the ocean to the mountains in an hour with wonderful seasons and activities such as hiking, which I look forward to doing a lot of upon my release.
So if you believe we can connect and become friends, share some laughs and common interests, I look forward to hearing from all of you interested and possibly setting up calls in the future at my expense.
In closing, I would like to share that on my path to recovery, it was a challenge at first to connect with my inner child, because he wasn’t allowed to talk to strangers.
