What is your opinion on lies? Like most, I suspect you dislike them, who wouldn’t? What about little white lies told to spare feelings? Those tend to compound to a point where they cause unintentional bad situations. The reason I ask is my world crumbled from lies, the little white lies being the most impactful, “The great derailment.” I’ve been in prison since 2019, after ignoring my values, beliefs, and military core values. Those white lies I spoke of, I told myself and others. Made choices that shamed me and others. Being one of the few incarcerated who will say this, I am right where I need to be and working on improving myself. Did you know the mind is only capable of maintaining five close connection relationships? And there is seven levels of intimacy (nonsexual?) Came across this in my reading. At this point in my self-improvement, I am lacking those five connections. Instead, I am finding myself surrounded by acquaintances who only reach level two. Male or female, I want to build those (honest) relationships. (Will respond to all, LBGTQ+ friendly.) Honest is not the same as good, righteous or perfect. You might impress my grandparents with those but I’ll find you boring. Feel free to prove me wrong. If you judge a book by its cover, tell me what my cover says.
