Hello everyone,

My name is Chris, and I’m recently widowed, after 10 years of marriage. My wife passed away of stage 4 stomach cancer, for those who want to know or might ask. I’m currently going to school for business administration. Once I’m released, I plan on running a business and putting my degree to use. I love to draw, as well as paint, recently I started making boxes out of chipboard, as well as making them for toy time.

Since I’m still in the grieving process, I’m not really sure what to say in this, other than to be honest about what I’m looking for. I’m looking for someone who is a good listener, who won’t hesitate to give both positive or negative feedback, who can carry on a good conversation, who likes to email or talk on the phone, and if they don’t want and prefer to use good old snail mail, that’s fine too.

Just looking for communication with others, besides my own family. I’m not looking to have money sent to me for anything, since I have my own support system in that aspect. However, I won’t turn down offers to send patterns, maybe do some price checking online when my family doesn’t have the time. Just the small things like that would be greatly appreciated, but not my primary intent, just a nice surprise once in a while. I’m not really a reader but I’m interested in anything that is a do it yourself, being a self-sufficient backyard farmer as well as beekeeping.
