Dakota Munson

I am a 69-year-old divorced man seeking friendship with a woman. I would enjoy corresponding with an intelligent and caring person.
After growing up in a small town in the Midwest, I graduated from the University of Vermont in Burlington, with a degree in psychology. I completed a masters degree in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. I received my second masters degree in counseling from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Then, I co-founded a private practice in psychotherapy in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Two years later I accepted a position as a program therapist in Galveston, Texas. After two years, I moved to Virginia and became a mental health therapist for the commonwealth of Virginia community services board. After eight years, I joined a private practice as a licensed psychotherapist who conducted individual, couples and family therapy sessions. I also provided expert witness testimony in both civil and criminal legal proceedings. In addition, I began to teach college courses in my two academic specialty areas – psychology and religion. I worked at these professional positions for seventeen years.
Some of my interests include performing several genres of music, concerts, movies, plays, art galleries and politics. I am currently creating content for a combination blog and website that will feature five subject areas: (1) comedy; (2) music; (3) blogs about the American criminal justice and penal systems; (4) psychology, psychiatry and mental illness related blogs, including the criminalization of mental illness in the United States and its almost complete denials of legal insanity and involuntary intoxication at the time of the criminal offenses; (5) biblical and spiritual insights, and personal reflections on religion and life.
It is my heart’s desire to do everything possible to get released from prison after my next parole eligibility evaluation in 2025. If paroled, my vocational goals include creating comedy videos for YouTube doing stand-up comedy in night clubs, and eventually becoming a part of a troupe of performers who combine comedy and music.
