Hello,

My name is Jermaine, but most people call me J.D. I have been incarcerated since 2007 and should be eligible for early release in 2025, due to some new laws that passed in Minnesota. Hoping to find a genuine woman to get to know, who won’t judge me only on my past mistakes. This is a very lonely place and I’m hoping someone takes a chance on me and fills that void 🙂

Before you reach out to me, understand that I am currently incarcerated, which means I was convicted of a crime. I have taken full accountability and hold myself responsible for my actions. I have made my share of mistakes and never claimed to be perfect, but if you seek a good guy with values and plenty of love to give, I’m him. It would be amazing if you were willing to take a chance on me and see the man I’ve become. I am willing to answer any question you may have concerning my crimes, etc. Friendship is good to build from, so let’s start there 🙂

I consider myself to be spontaneous, honest, loving, caring, understanding, loyal, and have been known to have a good personality. I will surprise you with a joke or two from time to time. I ain’t no professional comedian, but I’ve been known to deliver some tears of joy. Looking to meet single, open-minded women with similar qualities and who have room in their heart for me. No games, as I am a man of mature age!!!

I enjoy watching some of my favorite television shows. I am also a big sports fan. My favorite teams are Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, and Denver Nuggets. I work out 5 days a week and plan on learning pickleball when released. Cooking is a passion of mine, as I also look forward to traveling, sampling different cultural foods. I usually listen to old school R&B music and light rock. I like to read as I am currently reading “Shōgun.” I will admit my grandma taught me my cooking skills. Just enjoy having a good time and trying new things. Tell me some of your passions?

Two of my biggest accomplishments are graduating, receiving my Associate of Arts degree in communication. Also, receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in communication with a minor in Business Management. I plan on using these degrees to mentor troubled youth in my community. Maybe some motivational speaking is in my future, alongside the freelance writing I do. I completed many self-help classes, restorative justice, and building character classes as well. I’ve worked very hard to become a better person.
