Greetings,
I would like you to know that my heart and soul goes into each and every thing that I approach. At this very moment as my words enter into your mind, my sole purpose is to reach into your being, so that we can establish some form of communication. I sincerely want you to learn who I am, where I am, and why I am, so that we can hopefully meet on common ground, not allowing color, weight, age, religion, or any of these set standards to become a wedge between good people.
I am a caring, loving, understanding, and patient one of a kind guy, raised on a small farm by God loving parents. I love the outdoors and working on cars (YES, I am a grease monkey! L.O.L.) I am a mechanic by trade and upon my release I will use the business degree that I am working on to open my own auto shop.
It’s funny because I’ve always been an open and generous person with my heart. Laughter, teasing and joking have always been part of my character. I enjoy all the normal thing that a normal person enjoys. For instance let me share something with you that I miss more than anything; just sitting on a cliff in my hometown and watching the sunset on the Mississippi River.
Prison is undoubtedly a terrible place to be under any circumstances, but even so, I use it to my advantage by reconstructing some of my old habits. I have truly learned to appreciate some of life’s simplest gifts. I am taking courses through Adam State University to attain my Associate of Science with a Business Emphasis. I also work for the Industries here at the prison. We make glass for the prison system and I work in the maintenance department and I am one of three guys trying to start a Hydroponics program, if we get it running right the other inmates will be able to take the program and get good time for it.
I realize that life is a strange thing, and that’s putting it simply. For all of my trials and tribulations, for all my ups and downs, I’m still baffled by the awesome twists and turns that life takes us on. Hell, one day you are soaring high in the heavens and then next you’re face down in the mud! The more I learn the more I realize how little I really know. You go all your life being taught that up is up and down is down, then one day you discover that neither exist.
