Shane Crum

Howdy. My name is Shane Crum and I have been incarcerated since 1996 for a crime I did not commit. I simply ask that you review the material on those sites, and then draw your own conclusions about me. I will not hide anything from you. There have been some new developments, which I hope will prove my innocence and set me free soon.
Over the years, I have lost a number of family and friends. The amount of human contact and interaction every person requires, including myself, diminishes with each loss. Having advocates who try to help prove my innocence would be great. Having lifelong friends standing next to you at all times is far superior. I was told, “friends are the ones walking in, when everyone else is running out”. I am a country boy at heart. I am currently involved in a community service garden here at Marion. In 2022, we grew about 32,000 lbs of produce and donated it to local food banks. If/when I do finally get out, I want a large farm with several aquaponic systems. I would like the farm to be off-grid. I enjoy reading informational books that will help me achieve those goals. I like country and classic rock music. My current theme song is “Drift off to Dream” by Travis Tritt. I try to occupy my time here with two things: proving my innocence and getting out, and learning as much as I can to be successful when I do. I will continue working on it.
