I’m here on Wire of Hope looking for penpals to write because over the years prison has become very lonely and that loneliness has created a void inside that at times is overwhelming and I just feel like I need someone to talk to who can relate or understand what I’m going through. I am hopeful that I’ll be noticed here by someone and given an opportunity to open up on a deeper level and be myself so that you can see who I truly am instead of just another inmate. I reached a point in my life where I’m ready to change the negative patterns I have created and replace them with more positive ones. Starting here hopefully by meeting people who may influence me in a positive way. A daily goal of mine is to learn and grow so I’m always open to learning something new. I look forward to learning all about you and exploring the world through our future conversations and shared thoughts. When it comes to life, we can all relate in more ways than one, so feel free to speak your mind because we have to start somewhere besides you never know where a simple conversation may lead to. Although this is a huge step outside my comfort zone, I do look forward to opening up, being transparent, and exploring thoughts along with being honest with you and myself. I encourage you to be yourself and express how you feel when you write because I’m also here to listen and provide positive feedback.
