My name is Taquarius pronounced like the astrological sign, Aquarius. I’m from Northern Virginia, but lived in Los Angeles for nearly a decade before my arrest. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. When I’m not taking classes, I’m reading a good book, writing, or working out. I’m athletic and charismatic. I’ve traveled all over the world. But now I live in a cell the size of a parking space. Life truly is a humbling experience. Ha!
I’m a Pisces and writer. Since my arrest I’ve become more spiritual. Although I cling to my innocence, I know prison didn’t happen to me, but rather for me. I was convicted under a mandatory-minimum sentence through a conspiracy statute for promoting prostitution. When I didn’t accept the plea deal, I was labeled a sex trafficker. Even though my agency offered consensual security and car-service to independent “adult” escorts.
I’m looking for a friend or advocate to correspond with. I was given a lot of time with little proof and false testimony. I respect when someone is honest and up-front with me and I know other people do as well. I’d like to meet someone that’s non-judgmental and who’s willing to get to know me as opposed to what’s been falsely promoted. I hope to connect with you because prison can be lonely and boring.
