INNOCENT MAN! DONT SCROLL PAST WITHOUT HEARING MY STORY…
In August 2020, I went out for drinks with my best friend. We met two women at the bar and started to hang out. When the bar closed, the women invited us over to their place to continue the vibe. However, that night, we ended up making a childish decision, that forever altered my life. We decided to sneak off with their cash, credits cards and laptops. When the woman called 911, she stated nothing violent happened. She said she was having a good time until she woke up with her stuff gone. After two hours of talking with a racist police department, she was talked into falsely reporting, out of revenge, that I violated her body. The crazy part is the police are on body camera coaching the women to say they were assaulted. I’m currently trying to get that body camera footage on social media so the world can see the injustice that’s taking place. I’m being ignored by the Minneapolis police department. As we all know who has a history of racism with black people. Four months after marching for the injustice of George Floyd, I have become a victim of the same police department, just in a different way. The truth is, in reality, I never had intercourse with the woman. They checked for my DNA, and it was never on her. I have all my documentation to prove it and willing to share it with anyone who will listen for one second. As you probably guessed by now, the women were white. However, I’m not a bitter person. This journey has improved my growth. It helped me turn resentment into understanding. After all, it was the police who convinced them to use their skin color as an advantage against a young black man. I’m looking for someone to accept me as I am, an innocent man convicted of a crime I didn’t do. Some people might find what I did (stealing money) wrong, and I agree. My actions were unacceptable, period. I stole their money, and they didn’t deserve it, but as my granny use to say, two wrongs don’t make a right. I’m an innocent man who was wrongly convicted of a crime I didn’t commit. Some days are hard but I’m confident I’ll be free soon!
I was raised by women who support me nonstop. I have a sister whom I cherish. I think the worst person on earth is a person who can violate a woman. I’m not capable of hurting a woman in any way. The good part was my best friend was found not guilty at his trial. He’s trying to help me clear my name ‘cause he was with me that night and he knows I’m innocent. He ended up getting out, thank God. There’s more to my story that I want to share with you.
